Hi, Jayne - thank you for your lovely comment! I'm actually making up a bunch of these and a few other things to sell online later in the year. I would love to one day sell my own patterns - I know how to draft them, but have no idea how to put them into a computer and/or PDF format - I am technologically clueless, I'm afraid. I might have to learn how to do that in the future :)
No, I didn't take classes - I do very basic drafting which I learned how to do from books belonging to my grandmother (she was a dressmaker/tailor by trade). It's come in handy as my kids have never really fit into store-bought clothing very well, it's all so fitted these days! Both were monster-sized when they were born and continue to have "special fitting requirements', for lack of a better term (especially the 'little' one :) )
Chambray Tunic ....
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous!!
Will there be a pattern available at some point?
Regards
Jayne

ReplyDeleteI'll defnitely buy the pattern if you were to sell it one day. Did you take any formal classes for pattern drafting?
